Because of the large collections of photographs, a display setting of at least 800x600, 16 bit color is recommended.  Color depths below 16 bit (64k colors) are not recommended since this will result in a deterioration of the quality of the photographs.  Any higher resolutions or color depths will work fine.  Full size photographs are currently 1024x768 or larger.  The use of session cookies is required for proper functionality of the gallery software.  Cookies are only used to assist you in navigating through the photo galleries, and are removed immediately after leaving the site.

Recommendations: Internet Explorer 6 or above, AOL 8.0 or above, Netscape 4.7 and above, Mozilla 1.0 or above.  Browser versions may vary for Mac and by the version of AOL you are using.  Comcast Online cable internet service or Verizon DSL/FIOS are recommended for those who are searching for high speed Internet access.  If you are using AOL, you will need to disable JPEG/image compression.  This should be somewhere in your web browsing preferences.  For further help with this, contact AOL customer service.
