February 25, 2006:
I added a new section to the photo gallery for the indoor
guard, and photos from tonight's show at Lower Dauphin HS have been posted.
Photos of Ephrata's performance will be posted soon on my personal site.
March 11, 2006:
Photos from last week's indoor guard show at
Hershey have been posted. Photos of Ephrata at Lower Dauphin are
here.
I won't be at the Parkland show due to a class, Wildwood is up in the air due to
the possibility of relocating for a new job. My plans for other dates will
be posted soon. I also plan to start working on some indoor guard videos
over the next few days.
May 20, 2006:
I never posted a news
update about photos from the Souderton show, but the photos are there. I
just uploaded the photos from Chapters and I am working on Ephrata's photos if
anyone is interested. I may have a few more images from awards to post yet
this weekend.
I placed the order for the Wildwood videos on Friday -
2005 Finals, 2002-2004 prelims. It will probably be at least a month
before I get them. I still need to contact the production company that
filmed 2003 KIDA. Keep an eye out for future updates.
July 25, 2006:
I've been doing some testing on a new server and I shipped
it off to the new facility yesterday. Once the new server is live I will
be working on moving all of the sites and making some additional changes.
I spent about a week running all of the photos on all my sites through a digital
noise reduction program, but I will also be increasing image compression and
reducing sizes. I'll try to make these changes before the cut. I'm
doing this to save resources but also as an attempt to use the high resolution
photos to generate a couple dollars to help cover my expenses, especially since
gas in Maryland and Delaware is at least 25c/gal more expensive than in Central
PA and I live 100 miles away.
The moves will be completed and the switch will be made on
or before August 10. After I'm satisfied that everything is working I will
work on rolling Gallery2 live again with the integrated ordering system.
If you have questions or comments, let me know.
August 22, 2006:
I've been posting some updates on Xanga about work in
progress, and I've got my "to do" list and list of projects for my sites.
I'm working on resizing images, so the full size images are stretched rather
than displaying correctly at 1024x768. I have DVDs from indoor guard and
still need to order one more and actually contact that production company, but
for financial reasons I don't know when this will be.
I know that when I added all the menu stuff for 2006 I
screwed up some other stuff, this is on my list too. I don't have as much
time to do updates as I would like, and can't really make any promises. I
will probably start bringing my laptop with me on the Fridays that I can make
the games so I can get an hour or two of work in there if possible. Please
be patient and I will get everything fixed up when I can.
September 4, 2006: I didn't
forget about indoor guard and the day is today. The videos are finally
posted and I will be testing them tomorrow just to make sure everything is
working properly. If you come across any problems, please let me know.
October 2, 2006: I'm behind
with my updates here, but I am not too far behind as far as photos are
concerned. Unfortunately, the work schedule that allows me Fridays off has
me in the data center on Sunday so I am driving back from the shows late at
night and don't get the day after to work on photos. I did post updates
from the first two football games and have photos from the Gettysburg game and
the Mechanicsburg show to work on. I will try to have everything finished
by Wednesday. I updated the scores and posted this week's schedule and I
will throw a note on the Xanga page
when updates are made just in case I don't get to write something here.
October 3, 2006:
Photos from the Gettysburg game and Mechanicsburg show
have been posted. My availability for the game this Friday might depend on
the weather, but I will be there for the show on Saturday.
October 10, 2006:
Photos from the Mechanicsburg game and Red Land show
have been posted. See you on the 20th.
October 18, 2006:
Congratulations to Drum Major Renee Custer for being
elected Homecoming Queen on Friday, and happy birthday to Mr. P as well.
Two very nice Friday the 13th happenings :) I've added some photos to the
football album and homecoming photos are posted
here
in my personal gallery.
October 25, 2006 (12am):
Photos from the
Hershey game have been posted in a new sub album called high camera photos.
This is so I could separate the high shots taken at HersheyPark Stadium from
everything else. I will work on the Ephrata show photos later today and
get them posted.
October 25, 2006 (4pm):
Photos from the
Ephrata show have been posted. See you Friday for Senior Recognition.
October 26, 2006:
I've decided to run another ACCs contest this year,
so check it out.
November 1, 2006:
Photos from the Pocono East show has been posted.
Things were delayed due to the number of photos, the amount of work required to
retouch them, and lots of overtime this week. Due to the weather last
Friday I don't have any photos from senior recognition. Any seniors or
other band members who want individual or section pictures can talk to me this
weekend and I'll take them after the Chapters photos if time allows.
November 7, 2006:
Photos from the Middletown game and
all the Chapter Championships photos have been posted.
November 15, 2006:
Photos from the playoff game and
all the ACCs photos have been posted.
Congratulations to Dan Singer and Mr. McDonald, winners of this year's ACCs
contest. I will get the DVDs to you as soon as I have them.
December 18, 2006:
The 2006 ACCs show has been posted. Additional
videos are in the works, but I don't have an ETA on when they will be finished
yet.
December 27, 2006:
I finished all of the editing for the videos from the
Bowlings. Videos from Mechanicsburg, Red Land, Ephrata, Pocono Mountain
and ACCs have been posted in DivX format. I'm working on converting
everything to Windows Media format and will get them posted in the next few
days.
December 30, 2006:
The 2006 videos has
been posted in Windows Media format.
